The MDC strives to fulfill its mission by enhancing the following core values in its work: 

• Support liberal and free media 
• Work for mainstreaming gender in different media interventions, policies, and strategies  
• Work for fundamental human rights, including children’s rights and gender equality   
• Work on the basis of tolerance, mutual respect and for peace 
• Work against corruption in the society  
• Nurture a culture of transparency and social responsibility  
• Be credible and accountable 
• Linking the MDC’s interventions to goals of sustainable development to meet the needs of the Palestinian community 
• Seeking integration with stakeholders in Palestinian media development issues
