The MDC is dedicated to play a leading role in creating an environment of press freedom in Palestine, where capable and sustainable media are able to play their fundamental role in a democratic society.
We therefore provide mid-career training for journalists and other workers from TV, Radio, Print and New Media as well as offer media advocacy and research services while promoting quality and ethics in journalism. Our trainings concentrate on technical areas such as journalism, news and investigative reporting, photo journalism, TV camera, documentary direction/production, digital diplomacy, etc.
The MDC also has its own media outlets in the areas of print journalism (Al Hal newspaper) and radio (Birzeit Radio) to ensure that journalists can publish their material without fear of censorship.
