Nibal Thawabteh runs the Media Development Center of Birzeit University since 2008, and has contributed to its development since 2001 as a TV Unit Coordinator. She has worked for more than 10 years in media training and production in Palestine, as a consultant (mainly for UNESCO) or a media professional (producing TV spots, documentaries, etc.). As the editor in chief of Al Hal newspaper, and the board chairwoman of Ma’an Palestinian News Agency, she gained an in-depth knowledge of Palestinian and Arabic Islamic Media trends. Nibal holds a MA in management and educational training from Jordan University (Jordan).
